SUMMARY

X10 is a digital low-power smoke alarm. The MapleLeaf product design adheres to EU EN14604 standard. It is a stand-alone photoelectric smoke alarm based on MCU technology. Its digital signal processing makes the alarm detection more accurate with better product sensitivity and consistency. The MCU bulit in flash memory store the detector's factory parameters, maintenance information to achieve a strong self-diagnostic testing.

In addition, the adaptive compensation function is based on ambient temperature and external factors such as changes in the conditions of fire sensitivity compensation to the appropriate range. The average standby mode current consumption is less than 3UA with working time up to 10 years.

TEST

It is important to test this unit weekly to make sure it is working properly. Return them to the seller if improperly ,and don't use fire to test your alarm.

 

STEP TO TEST

     
  1. Press and hold the test button for 3 seconds to ensure your smoke alarm still working properly. If the smoke alarm does not function the way it sound, replace it immediately or check your battery.
  2. The signal flashes once 5 minutes and while it alarms the signal will flash once 0.5 second.
  3. If there is a low beep sound every 30 seconds from the smoke alarm, it is an indication of low battery. Replace the battery immediately.

OPERATION

STEP TO TEST

  1. Press and hold the test button on the cover of the unit until the alarm sounds. If it does not alarm, make sure that the unit is receiving power and test it again. If it still does not alarm ,replace it immediately or check your battery.
  2. The signal flashes once 30 seconds and while it alarms the signal will flash once 0.5 second.
  3. If the alarm makes low "chirp "sounds every about 30seconds,it tells you to exchange your battery.
  4. Little smoke will not cause alarms, so misinformation occurs only when you blow smoke to the alarms directly or you forget to turn on your ventilated facility white your cooking.
  5. Sometimes when you smoke the unit will alarm ,so you can just blow air to it to stop alarming.

SUMMARY

ML-V is a kind of freestanding flammable gas alarm. It adopts advanced gas sensor, and select MCU with high ratio of performance and price as control core. It is a household small type gas security alarm. It can detect gas leak concentration indoor. When gas leak concentration reaches presetting level, the alarm provides a visual and audible signal. OPERATION

STEP TO TEST


Power connected, the power indicator(green) is constantly on, and it alarms with beep sound(alarm indicator flashes twice). The digital tube displays "-" and about 4 minutes displays concentration, then it starts the alarm detection mode.

Use pump to supply the alcohol volatile gas through the tube to the gas alarm ,ensure that the tube is right to gas sensor.

  • When digital tube says the concentration is 0,1,2, the status indicator is off
  • When digital tube says the concentration is above 3, the status indicator is red and the alarm indicator flashes, when says 3,4,5 it alarms with the beep sound slowly and when says 6,7,8,9 it alarms with the fast beep sound.
  • When digital tube says the concentration is A, it alarms with the status indicator in red , alarm indicator constantly on in red.When the concentration is lower than defined value, the alarm recovers to the normal state.
